The day after the presidential inauguration, I attended the Women’s March. I was surprised at how peaceful and friendly it was, and it gave me hope that there are so many like-minded people in New York, and that I could help make a difference simply by being there to be counted. One of the best parts for me is that everyone expected and wanted to be photographed with their protest signs. I was amazed by the creativity of all of them.
