In June I photographed the fourth annual NYC Pride Ride. Organized by one of New York City’s LGBT cycling clubs, OutCycling, the ride consisted of 30-, 60-, and 100-mile routes through New York City and Bergen and Rockland counties to celebrate Pride Month. Attended by more than 200 riders, the event was a great success, stopping midway through for lunch at Rockland Lake State Park and ending with a festival at Riverbank State Park at 145th Street on the Hudson River.
