At the end of May I photographed this home in Connecticut for interior designer Jeffrey Kilmer. Jeffrey had staged the rooms the day before, and the shoot went flawlessly with very little retouching to do afterwards since he had the rooms in such perfect shape. The only issue was removing a green color cast in the daylit rooms from the verdant landscaping outdoors. Jeffrey’s objective was to design an understated environment that is comfortable an livable. There’s great beauty in the details, like the painted wood floor in the kitchen and the integration of the owner’s art collection into the decor.
