I had the opportunity for the second time to photograph the annual fundraiser for Citymeals-on-Wheels at Restaurant DANIEL. Citymeals Board Co-President Chef Daniel Boulud welcomed Chef Jacques Chibois from La Bastide Saint Antoine into his kitchen along with Chef Markus Glocker and Chef Gabriel Kreuther to celebrate Black Truffles and Blue Jeans. The event brought together 150 guests for an exquisite and intimate late winter-themed dinner at the legendary restaurant. The event raised $720,000 to fund the preparation and delivery of nearly 112,150 meals to homebound elderly New Yorkers. Nicholas Lowry of Swann Auction galleries lead the live auction.
