My client, a New York City tech firm, needed consistent portraits of 10 of its staff to use on its website and in other collateral. Getting everyone into my studio was not possible, and the CEO wanted an interesting but vague background, so I came to their headquarters. We posed the subjects in front of a window with the architecture across the street blurred in the background. A slight change in my angle for each shot ensured that the background was similar yet unique. As long as the building across the street stands, I’ll be able to return and replicate the look for future employees.
