High Line Photowalk

With some time to kill on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I decided to bring my camera with me on a stroll on the High Line. I knew I wanted to get the shot above of the Empire State Building behind the General Theological Seminary, so I took my Canon 7D and my 70-200 mm lens. So all my other shots are telephoto, too.

I honestly have never been inspired to make many photos on the High Line. I think it’s probably my frustration with how crowded it is, and that’s partly my fault for visiting during peak hours. Perhaps I’ll be inspired sometime to take more photowalks, early and late to avoid the crowds and to take advantage of better light.
