An Afternoon at the Central Park Zoo

I found myself on a Saturday afternoon with nothing planned, and the weather was beautiful. Spontaneously I decided to visit the Central Park Zoo with my camera. The zoo is a little gem in the center of the bustling city. The few hours I spent there in the afternoon sunlight presented some of the worst possible light for outdoor photography, but luckily some of the exhibitions were indoors or in the shade of trees. I share here photos of some of the creatures I met (starting with the Red Panda above), and there will be more in two upcoming posts.
