It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been laid up with a herniated disk, and photography is kind of difficult with lower back pain. (Many people ask, so if you’re interested, the herniated disk is L5S1. That’s pretty common, I’m told.) I’m getting better, and physical therapy is helping. I hope to be back to normal soon. In the meantime, I present here photos from some recent photowalks around town before my back trouble started. It’s refreshing and it gets the creative juices flowing just to walk around with a camera with no particular agenda other than to make interesting photos. When doing this in familiar neighborhoods, it forces you to find unseen detail in common places.
