Calendar Unveiling Is a Huge Success

The unveiling of the Asbury Park Firefighters 2010 Calendar was a huge success. We estimate that 600 people attended and we sold 250 calendars. Thanks to Madison Marquette for donating the space at the Third Avenue Pavilion on the Asbury Park boardwalk. It made a great gallery space. Every firefighter pictured in the calendar showed up to autograph their pages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone who came. If you couldn’t come and would like a calendar, they can be purchased on the events page of the ArtsCAP website, www.artscap.org, or from these Asbury Park merchants:

  • Asbury Galleria / The Grand Arcade, Boardwalk
  • City Manager’s Office / City Hall, Main Street
  • Flying Saucers / 658 Cookman Avenue
  • Garden Market Place / 519 Bangs Avenue
  • Heaven Art & Antiques / 721 Cookman Avenue
  • Mike’s Beach House / 619 Cookman Avenue
  • Munch / 632 Cookman Avenue
  • Shelter Home / 704 Cookman Avenue
  • The Showroom / 708 Cookman Avenue
  • Southside Florist / 725 Bangs Avenue
  • The Winds of Life / 617 Main Street
  • The Firehouse / Main Street and Asbury Avenue

Of course, I had my camera with me, so please enjoy these photos of the event.
